Jungle

Do you ever see a photo somewhere are just suddenly become obsessed with it? It's something about the way it was taken and the color used. The contrast. the texture. I could literally list all the E's and P's but you can Google them if you'd like.

There is something about this picture that I am so engulfed in. The minty, sea-foam green and the palm shadows are so relaxing. Something about this photo gives me some weird inner peace. I guess this helps since I've been having some late nights with assignments.

I used to think when I was sad or angry that it was a fixable issue. I would ask myself questions like "What is it that I am really upset about? What is the big problem here? How can I help myself to fix it?.. 

I would narrow down the problem.

I would figure out my answers in a matter of hours and be on with readjusting my "big problem".

 But what happened? 

When did I start doubting myself and when did I stop finding the answers.

Dream on

You know when you feel like you're in a do-or-die position in your life? and it's an all or nothing situation but you know you can't take the easy way out because let's face it, the easy way isn't the right way to get to your dream. Following your heart and intuition is no 5 stepper. It seams to be a rigorous path of which you battle and challenge yourself to discover your purpose in life- to define yourself. I can now say that I am on that challenging path trying to weed out by-standing obstacles and use succeeding elements to help me though.

 That just got deep. 

I guess what I'm trying to say is that your idols, your mentors, your role models, didn't have it easy and neither are you. Nothing should be in your way of something you want to achieve.
