Let's go far an #ootd

It's a really nice feeling to have someone give you a reward for your hard work. If I could have my say, everyone would get an award for something, best cookies, most helpful, class clown. I was lucky enough to receive a general award from the Fashion Design faculty tonight. Lucky and blessed, maybe I should be rewarding myself more often. 

Also, the best thing that was said about me today was that i'm a "big picture" person. 100% percent.

Extrovert iNtuitive Thinking Judging an #ootd

If you're a close friend of mine you probably know that I'm really into astrology. I'm not a nerd, I don't know everything about everyone's sign but I know more then most people, for sure. There's been a lot of self discovery happening this year, 3rd year. Less structured classes means self directed timelines, and with work practicum coming this spring all I can think about is what kind of person I am, which company will I mesh with the best... This all ties into astrology and the being of my existence because I genuinely feel like my zodiac sign and reliable personality tests can teach you about yourself without racking your brain for answers. You easily get a general or specific descriptions that you can then piece together what makes sense in relation to who you are, and that becomes your analysis. I've been doing research on my Myers Brigg's personality type, ENTJ and I read my horoscope on a daily.  

I've rambled too much already. Half of that probably made no sense.

New York, I love you

I can not even express how much I love this top. I like it, I like it a lot.

First of all, I bought it in New York (Nordstorm Rack) and it wasn't even mine to buy! Kate a.k.a. kateandkouture.weebly.com was debating the purchase and kindly (I love you Kachi) said I could buy it! Yay* This being said, she had like 5 other items she was purchasing because shes a tiger in department stores, jealous of her serious skills.

But I've really been enjoying shirts with different textures. The sleeves and bottom are a very tiny netted material and the rest of the top is a type of polyester that feels silky, and I think the keyhole in the back just adds a little special detail to it.

As you can probably tell, the straps of my bra are showing and to be quite honest I like the way it looks, it just gives the shirt even more detail.
