First, we're going to moisturize
At the beginning of any makeup tutorial that you've ever watched, a good beauty guru will tell you that they've moisturized their skin. These three moisturizers work in different ways and are my favorite ones currently.
The Moisture Serge by Clinique is remarkable. I bought it because of all the hype I heard about it from various youtubers & bloggers. I had high expectations and at first I didn't really enjoy the gel formulation but after a couple days something magical happened and I have no idea why I second guessed its brilliant moisturizing abilities. The gel is kind of a medium weight and the jar says you can use it on top of makeup so that's a plus if you plan on taking it around with you.
The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair cream is of a thick consistency. It's what a typical moisturizer is like. It feels like its working the second you put it on your skin and throughout the day I've noticed that my skin still feels hydrated.
Lastly, the Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion by Clinique is a yellow tone which doesn't show up on your skin at all. I think it's that color to even out the tone of your skin. This moisturizer is the most light weight out of the three. I use this on days where I have time to let this sink it before applying my makeup. Because it's thinner, I tend to use a little more since my skin type is normal-dry.
I'm interested in diving into some higher end cleansers, any recommendations?

Winter repair team
Colder months mean dry skin and to prevent that from happening
here are my 4 top products I use:
1. Holiday Berry Cream - Beyond Belief
I walked in to Sally's Beauty Supply just
to browse and by the cashier there was this hand cream...for 2$. I couldn't say
no to it! It smells like Christmas, and festivity and the holidays. It’s a
great little moisturizer and surprising since it was only 2 bucks.
2. Vaseline
I saw a pin on Pinterest about 13 ways to
use Vaseline so I wanted to get the mini tub. Surprisingly there's not an
actual difference I could find between the lip therapy and the original. I
ended up getting the small one and I've been using it a lot, especially around
the sides of my mouth/lip area.
3. Ultra Repair Cream - First Aid Beauty
Best moisturizer! Its semi thick I would
say and it sinks nicely into the sink without the feeling of it drying out too
fast.
4. Blistex
My dry lip go-to saviour! I wear matte
lipsticks all the time so sometimes my lips tend to turn on me. Whenever they
are cracked or extra dry I turn to this to make them better and healed.

Random Favorites #1
1. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
I was going to Sephora to buy this cream full size then I realized that this was an 100 point perk so I basically got this sample size but didn't end up buying the full size. I do think that I'll eventually buy the full size because this is so moisturizing and makes my skin feel so quenched!
2. NARS Blush in Desire
I've had this blush for a year now and its the absolute best color for summer! It does look a bit scary because it is such a bright pink but it gives a lovely flush to my cheeks and I think it would look exceptional on olivey skin tones.
3.No Dark Shadows Complexion Enhancer
My friend gave this to me after she felt like this did nothing for her, so trying this out I didn't expect anything. After using it for about 3 weeks I actually really like it. I saw it in the drugstore for 20 dollars - do I think it's worth 20 dollars? No, but would I be tempted to purchase it? Yes. It's like a brightener but with more coverage. It's not a product that I would gravitate towards but I do like it a lot.
4. FriXion ball point clicker
This erasable pen is amazing. A little pricey for a pen but oh my goodness its so amazing. I'm someone who loves stationary and when I find a good pen, it's like one of the best feelings. This pen is amazing.
5. American Apparel Neon Nail Lacquer in Neon Violet
I think AA nail polish is amazing. It is really opaque and they are a total bang for your buck. I think this gives you product then an OPI polish and they are a couple dollars cheaper too! And the always have deals going on (bogo and such). This polish dries semi matte and I just love the color! It screams summer.
6. NYLON Magazine
I have always had a love for Nylon's and I've debated several times whether I should renew my subscription or not, and I always do! It's just a great magazine that's more culture and society based compared to FASHION or Seventeen. Know what I mean? Give it a go if you've never read one. The interviews are amazing!
