It's amazing to have people around you that not only care about your well being but that also take cute blog pics of you. I thought it was going to rain today, hence the turtleneck. Saw about 6 other girls wearing turtlenecks today, copy-cats or am I just a trend setter?

On this slightly grey vancity day my beautiful friend shot some photos of me styling my Nike's. I don't exactly know if I like how this looks. I think I do like it, although I wish my socks were white. Anyhow the next couple of outfit posts are featuring these Nike's because I was/am experimenting styling them!

Sorry for the rush post I haven't managed my time properly (bullet journal to begin..future post coming soon) I am quickly typing this with 20% battery left and sleep to catch seeing as I have to wake up tomorrow morning and go to work! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I know I did :)

Wilfred Wool Hat, H&M Maxi Dress, XXI boots

I did a little shopping on the weekend because my amazing 2.5 year old Forever 21 booties had completely fallen apart. They were a suede-ish material and were basically the only shoes I used to wear. After coming to the realization that they were completely battered I went to Forever 21 and found these babies. (Post coming soon) Faux leather and heavenly.

This dress is lovely and long and there are 2 slits *oww owwww* ;) its so comfy and effortless and the hat is literally just decoration. I couldn't wear it the whole day because it was so HOT and my head was dying. But it added the extra shade of cool.

What do you think about maxis? Yay or nay?

Nueva York an #ootd

Lips, MAC relentlessly red; Top, La Notte from Aritzia; Shorts, Old Navy

I am really a simple person. I don't usually wear many rings in the summer because my finger swell more due to the heat. It's a fact that I feel the most confident in a tee shirt. I actually think most girls do. This one is cool for 2 reasons, 1. GREY and 2. I love anything to do with New York. Perfection. I bought the size medium because I wanted it to be a tad over sized and I love it. I can't Imagine ever giving this shirt up.
